Euro holds longest winning streak in a year before German da

Bloomberg - The euro held a six-day gain against the dollar, the longest winning streak in almost a year, ahead of reports forecast to show gains in German consumer prices and regional industrial production. The 17-nation euro was 0.3 percent from a six-week high before European Central Bank Vice President Vitor Constancio speaks in Frankfurt today.

He said last month policy makers are “not really near a decision” on a negative deposit rate. The yen rallied from a five-year low versus the euro after technical indicators signaled its recent losses were excessive. The Bloomberg U.S. Dollar Index fell to a six-week low yesterday.
